李茹,博士,二级教授,博士生导师,享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家,山西大学学术委员会委员,山西省高等学校教学名师,山西省委直接联系高级专家,全国万名优秀创新创业导师,曾任计算机与信息技术学院/大数据学院副院长。主要研究方向为自然语言处理、文本语义计算及数据智能预测。中国中文信息学会(CIPS)常务理事,CIPS信息检索常务委员会委员及专业委员会委员,CIPS计算语言学、语言与知识计算专业委员会委员,山西省物联网和人工智能标准化技术委员会副主任委员,山西省计算机类专业教学指导委员会秘书长,山西省高等学校拔尖创新人才、山西省学术技术带头人,中国宝钢教育奖优秀教师奖获得者。长期与美国加州大学伯克利分校(UC Berkely)、英国爱丁堡大学(The University of Edinburgh)、新加坡科技局资讯通信研究院(A*STAR-I2R)进行合作研究。

李茹教授先后主持国家863计划项目1项、国家自然科学基金重点项目1项、国家重点研发计划项目子课题2项、国家自然科学基金项目3项;先后在IEEE TKDE、ACL、IJCAI、EMNLP、COLING、《计算机学报》《中国科学》等国际国内重要学术期刊和会议发表论文100余篇,获发明专利10余项;主持完成山西省科技进步二等奖2项、山西省高等学校科技进步一等奖1项,山西省教学成果特等奖1项、二等奖1项。
